I have to talk about my experience with immigration officers in Miami. When it was my time to receive my resident ship in the US due to marriage with an US Airforce officer, me and my wife had to attemp an adjustment interview with a US Immigration officer.
Unfortunately, it was a female cuban lady, who slamed the door in my face, because I did not speak her language, and my whole file was missing just one day after the interview.

Why in the world does america put people in charge of immigration that are born in cuba?

Why does the US gouverment allow those people to just select their own kind for immigration? I was married for 10 years, paid taxes for 13 years, but was declined residentship because I was not hispanic.

Isnt that racism? I was white, and therefor not acceptable to be a resident of the US. Thats racism.

I hope I will receive an answer for whats going on here.

People need to realize that history has made the world what it is today. If the Europeans who came to America had not done damage to Natives and Blacks then we would not have only black tv channels or only back colleges. You have to see that they are a minority just as are Latinos, Asians, and, many other races. that is why there are not as many things for white people because you guys are the majority. I agree with some of you guys though. It's all in the past and whites should not be discriminated against for what their ancestors did. :-) -ANGELICA

Check this out, my son is in 11th grade in San Antonio, TX and he came home the other day and did not understand what happened at school. The gist is this; during class a school staff member came into his class offering a scholarship to his class. She said for the students to stop by her office and apply. So he went, because I have been riding him to get a jump on scholarships. When he arrived at her office he read the scholarship and found that it was only available to Hispanics. He has been a straight “A” student his entire life and was upset. My daughter applied for scholarships for “Italians”, but outside of school on her own time, not school time. I called the vice principal and she said that private organizations and businesses offer the scholarships. She went on to say that Hispanics have been deprived of access to college and that they deserver the schools help. I don’t care if private companies want to provide money to whatever group they want, but during public school time. The school is teaching my child to look at people differently, the very opposite as to what I am trying to teach; treat everyone equally. I also contacted the district superintendent who will not return my email. I received a call from the Texas State superintendent’s office and they say they stay out of this and that they did not have jurisdiction in the matter and that the individual schools can do what the wish. I would hope that the constitution and civil rights and discrimination apply to everyone in this country.

I have an excellent one a bout SA Airlink. My daughter - white - went for a round of 3 interviews and after the final interview my daughter received a letter stating she was not one of the chosen ones - this is her dream job - air hostess. Only blacks were taken on and to top it all not one of them understood properly of what was asked, there were 4 who could not answer any of the questions that were put forward (This is known becauses they were interview and told off in groups). What can we do in future because i have a younger son who is also not going to get anywhere even if he studies further. My daughter has qualified for all the requirements requested to be an airhostess but because she is white she gets shunted off. They also had the cheek to tell her she may not send her cv to them again with the next vacancy listingS - What a joke because in a question of 1 year they interviewed her twice first time took blacks & second time took blacks

The Main problem with the White American is that he lets himself be bullied. He is so afraid that he will offend a certain group or be politically incorrect that he is willing to reserve all negative comments or judgments when an issue arises that may be related to any particular race. We as a minorities know this, so we exploit this weakness, you see I am a MINORITY and I can tell you firsthand that White America needs to summon the courage to speak out when it is deemed necessary. Unfortunately, there isn't enough courage in White America to say the truth when reality stares you right in the face. Am I qualified to say this; well I should say so. I grew up in black neighborhoods and know full well how they are prejudiced towards other races. How they opt to help their race as opposed to other racial groups. I went to schools in the era of desegregation and I can tell you that blacks did not want us in their schools. We had to fight for our rights to be there every single day. Why does no one talk about this. The overlooked and sad fact is that crime is greater in black neighborhoods and those that deny this fact are only fooling themselves or others. Look at the statistics, they prove this point. As great as the crime statistics are in black neighborhoods they would be far worst if we would take the government entitlements away. The result would be that we would end up with a greater number of homeless individuals and even more crime ridden areas within the black community. I am a social worker and I know this for a fact. Work is not a word that many of the inner city blacks know. They prefer to receive food stamps, sell drugs, steal, barter, trade, defraud, receive welfare benefits and section 8 program( Provides either free or low cost housing) than to find meaningful employment. When I do my visits I usually find people that go to sleep at very late hours, wake up around noon and have little incentive to work because of government programs. Why does no one talk about this, because they are afraid to be labeled as racists. You all know (White Americans) that you are racists. Oh, Nooooooo, Then why do very few whites live in black neighborhoods? Prejudice or are you afraid? As soon as blacks move in a neighborhood whites start moving out, Why?? Hispanics are usually the ones that stay put, they are not going to let a group of people move them out of their homes, they stay put or integrate if they have to, but they don't run. White Americans do as your ancestors have done; stay put, fight for whats yours and don't put your tail between your legs and cower away. Remember what made this country great was the great American Spirit!!! don't let a group of people whoever they are dictate to you that they are in charge. Speak out, but don't do the cowardly thing, resort to violence against a minortiy individual, collectively issue ultimatums, get your ass in gear and as a society let them know that we don't owe anyone a damn thing unless you bust your ass to earn it. Just Don't give me the "you owe Me" bullshit anymore.

I truly believe that whites are discriminated against by blacks simply because we have to watch our every word in order not to offend the blacks, if we mention the colour 'black', we are accused of being racist but they are free to say whatever they want to us and no one questions what they say. Where is the justice in that? I am not responsible for the black slave trade which took place well before I was born yet I have to suffer the consequences of it. Why?

Yes,us the white people are discriminated-in my case when it comes to government jobs-because I am white I have lower chances to be hired than I would if I would be a different race because then I would be picked to "meet the quotas"-I don't think it is fair and I think people should be hired especially by the government based on the merit.

In response to Ethiopia Speaks, nobody said that black was bad. The point we are attempting to convey, that you arent understanding is that if whites, for example, made a "white entertainment television" channel then continued to have an awards show, specifically designed for whites....everyone would yell discrimination. Blacks manage to be allowed to have Black Universities, black music labels, and black clothing lines. For all the discrimination convictions there is, there are clearly not enough 'reverse discrimination' claims. I for one, am tired of having African Americans blame any shortcommings in life they incur on discrimination....because it goes both ways, whether everyone wants to believe it or not.

I totally agree with this article. I myself am a white male and it almost seems as if I have very little freedom of speech compared to other races. African Americans can put a bumper sticker on their car and everything is cool but when a white man puts a bumper sticker on their car they get pulled over and questioned, "What is wrong with you, are you racist!?"
