Exports to the EU declining share of GDP
The EU accounts for 49% of UK exports, which amounts to 19% of GDP, a declining share. Britain also invests twice as much in America as it does in Germany, France, and Italy combined.
For an update on the declining importance of EU trade to our economy check out this New Frontiers Foundation report.

Does that include or exclude the stuff sent to Antwerp for forwarding to the Rest of the World?

The 49% figure is taken from the Pink Book for 2004 and includes goods sent to Antwerp and Rotterdam for onward shipment to other countries. In other words it over-states the importance of the EU-15.
