The government haven't a clue about whether or not these measures will work. That should be no surprise to anyone. On the other hand there is something in what has been reported that is fact and should worry us all - the growing beaurocracy characterised by high paying jobs funded by our taxes. Are these two new "financial institutions" to come from existing jobs or are we on track for another round of "jobs for the boys"? You will note that in the UK, over the last 10 years, most new jobs have been in the public sector (a cost centre) whilst wealth producing jobs in the private sector have been disappearing. This looks like the same thing, only at the Euro level.
