Middle class parents seeking out the ‘best’ schools for their children shouldn’t be demonised – instead we should address the weaknesses leading them to desert their local schools. Anastasia seems not to understand that some pupils are innately brighter than others (see Darwin, Adam Smith etc.). Just because one can train a dog to fetch a stick doesn’t mean you can teach a horse to sing!
